Yesterday Premier Gordon Campbell and Jay Hill, Member of Parliament for Prince George – Peace River and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons announced approval of a grant in the amount of $967,334 for the White Rock Museum and Archives Society’s heritage restoration project.
The total project cost is expected to be about $1.4 million with the Society providing the rest of the funding. The project is expected to complete in early 2011.
