Chris MacClure.

Chris was born in 1943, on the East Coast of Canada. His father, a jazz musician, and his mother a play-write, fostered an early interest in the arts.

Chris fine art education was highlighted with schooling at both the
Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and the Emily Carr Art
School in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

"While education gives you the direction, living the life as an artist gives you the inspiration", says Chris.

This philosophy has served Chris MacClure well during the many years he has spent 'living his art', mastering the
craft and gaining international and national recognition.

Chris MacClure was first published in 1981, and since that time has had many 'sold out' editions in the print market.

The Ford Motor Company of Detroit, has for the first time,licensed an
artist to publish Limited Edition art pieces of Chris. This series by
ChrisMacClure is officially titled "The Ford Collection".

Chris's art has found its way into numerous collections throughout the world
such as those of Bill Clinton [Washington], Boris Yeltsin [Moscow],
John Travolta,Kirstie Alley, and Jay Leno [Los Angeles], Pepsico [New York], and Ford Motor Company, [Detroit].
