Who are you voting for on November 15th 2008 in White Rock election?...wow. What a question.
The following is an excerpt from an issue of the WhiteRockReporter.com published not too long ago.
Read and heed:
"You need to go voting in November in White Rock, BC. The order of the day on the 15th of November 2008. It's you darned responsibility to go out there and vote...that's of course only if you wish to be counted for. What?? You do count. If you don't feel you deserve to be 'counted for' than move somewhere else.
White Rock cannot afford to have 'sleepers resting on their sofas' while they really should be out voting ...a responsibility and a privilege. Some people in the world die for their fight to be able to be granted the opportunity to cast their vote for a cause or belief.
Canadians and Americans are fine citizens and I have lived most of my adult life in their company, but still it seems to me that 'government issues' only matters 'to them' when the house is about to burn down and mostly then it is too late. Being heard in time is essential for communication."
'Enjoy today; tomorrow it may rain to nurture our water table'
Enjoy our beautiful weather and tourist 'late-comers'. White Rock has come alive both up-town and seaside. Lots of parking stalls still.
Walk to the end of our pier on the west Marine Drive by the Rotary Pier Clock in White Rock.
Arriving to the end of this fantastic vista you can see a good portion of the fenced in White Rock Marina with its moored sailing vessels...what a view a day like this; the 11th of August 2008.
May the 'seagulls fly over your head and leave you untouched, happy, thrilled and content 'nature is alive' and we have peace'.
Be well.
